ATTENDANCE:
If a student misses class, a parent MUST call the studio and notify the office atleast 24 hours in advance,  if possible. If a student misses 3 consecutive classes without notifying the studio, students will not be  allowed to attend class without the office’s permission. Excessive absences may result in dismissal  from the annual dance recital. Students with perfect attendance from October 1st to June 1st will  receive an award at recital. (make-up classes do not count for perfect attendance)
 

DANCE SHOES:

DO NOT wear your dance shoes outside, the cement will damage and ruin your dance shoe, as well as  the dance studio floor. If we notice your child's shoes are damaged, you will need to re-purchase  another pair of shoes. Please make sure your child’s name is written inside of their the shoes.  

DRESS CODE:
Students must follow CBSD’s dress code for all dance classes. All students must have their hair in a bun  or ponytail for all classes, please follow the class dress code. If a student fails to have the appropriate  attire and hairstyle, it will be at the teachers discretion to dismiss the student from class and parents  will be notified.

ALL DANCE ATTIRE AND ACCESSORIES MUST BE PURCHASED AT THE STUDIO

 LIABILITY: 
Christine Belpedio’s Dance Studio assumes no responsibility or liability for any injuries sustained  during participation in classes, rehearsals, performances, or events. Additionally, the studio is not re sponsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.  

MAKE-UP CLASSES: 

If students misses a class, they must make-up the class in the same genre of dance within 30 days.  Students will not be allowed more than 5 make-up classes per dance season. Make-up classes end  March 1st. There are no refunds/deductions from tuition for missed classes. If your child is making up a  class, they MUST come to the office to get a make-up slip to give to their teachers.  

REFUNDS:

If any student violates all studio rules and the CBSD code of conduct, tuition fees will not be refunded.  Tuition and costume fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

STUDIO RULES: 

Only registered students are allowed in the dance studio. No parents are allowed in the studio, unless  you are making a payment. We need to keep the lobby clear for dancers. No gum is allowed in the  studio. Absolutely no food (except for water) will be allowed in the studio rooms or dressing room!  No profanity or bullying will be tolerated in or around the studio. CBSD students are expected to  behave properly while in class. Students must always demonstrate proper etiquette and be respectful  to all peers and instructors. Disruptive students may be removed from the class. Please make sure all  personal belongings including their cellphones are stored in your child's dance bag and placed in  lockers. CBSD is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Should any student fail to comply with any  CBSD studio rules and code of conduct, there will be no refund of tuition.  

TARDINESS: 

CBSD students are expected to arrive on time for class. We ask all parents to drop off their child 10  minutes before their class starts. If a student is running late, a parent must notify the office, students  that are more than 15 minutes late they may not be able to participate in class. Being on time for class  is essential, when entering a room late it is very distracting to your dance peers and teachers.
